Welcome to Transportly! By using our taxi services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. General Information

Transportly is a transportation service that offers taxi rides to passengers. These Terms and Conditions apply to all users of our services, including riders, drivers, and anyone interacting with our platform or services.

2. Services Provided

Transportly provides taxi transportation services via a mobile app, website, or other booking methods. We operate in designated geographic areas and are subject to availability.

3. Booking and Cancellations

  • Booking: When you request a ride, you are entering into an agreement with Transportly for the provision of a taxi service. Your booking will be subject to availability.

  • Booking Fee: A non-refundable booking fee of 25% of the total fare must be paid at the time of booking. This fee is charged to confirm your booking and is not refundable under any circumstances, even if the ride is canceled.

  • Cancellations: You may cancel your ride request via the app or other available methods. Cancellations made within 10 minutes of booking may be subject to a cancellation fee. Please note that the 25% booking fee remains non-refundable.

  • Changes: You are responsible for any changes to your booking. If you need to alter your pickup location or destination, please do so before the ride is in progress.​

4. Payment

  • Fare Calculation: All fares are calculated based on distance traveled, time spent during the trip, and other applicable fees, such as surcharges for tolls or heavy traffic.

  • Payment Methods: Payment for services must be made through the Transportly platform, which accepts credit/debit cards, online payments, or any other approved payment methods.

  • Refunds: Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis and will be processed according to our Refund Policy.​

5. Passenger Conduct

  • Behavior: Passengers are expected to behave respectfully and follow all legal requirements during the ride. Abusive, disruptive, or dangerous behavior may result in termination of the ride and potential legal action.

  • Alcohol & Drugs: Transportly has a zero-tolerance policy for illegal drug use or excessive alcohol consumption during a ride. The driver has the right to refuse service if this policy is violated.

  • Smoking: Smoking is prohibited in all Transportly vehicles.​

6. Driver Conduct

  • Expectations: Transportly drivers are expected to provide a professional and courteous experience for all passengers. They must adhere to all local laws and regulations, including traffic laws, safety protocols, and vehicle maintenance standards.

  • Background Checks: All drivers undergo a background screening to ensure passenger safety.​

7. Liability

  • Passenger Responsibility: Transportly is not responsible for lost or stolen items during a ride. Passengers are advised to keep their belongings with them at all times.

  • Company Liability: Transportly will not be liable for any delays, accidents, or damages caused during a ride, except in cases where the law mandates otherwise. Transportly's liability is limited to the amount paid for the ride in question.

8. Insurance

 

​All Transportly drivers carry adequate insurance coverage as required by law for the operation of a taxi service.

9. Privacy and Data Collection

  • Personal Information: By using our services, you agree to the collection and use of your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We may collect information including, but not limited to, your name, contact details, location data, and payment information.

  • Third-Party Services: Transportly may use third-party services for payment processing, location tracking, or customer support. These services may have their own privacy policies, and by using Transportly, you agree to those terms.​

10. Amendments

Transportly reserves the right to update or change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be reflected in the updated version of this document on our website or app. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

11. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to resolve the issue through direct communication, and if necessary, via mediation or arbitration. Legal proceedings will be conducted according to the laws of the jurisdiction where Transportly operates.

12. Termination of Service

Transportly reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to services for any user who violates these Terms and Conditions, engages in harmful behavior, or is found to be engaging in illegal activity.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where Transportly is operating, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
